The Kansas City region is a natural fit for many top industries, including animal health, biosciences, logistics, technology and education. KCADC has launched and cultivated a number of initiatives supporting these unique industry sectors, further bolstering the KC regional economy.
In the November/December edition of Kansas City Business Magazine, KCADC’s Think Tank column (on page 55), highlighted the latest news from three of KCADC’s industry initiatives: KC Animal Health Corridor, KCnext and KC SmartPort.
KCADC’s focus on industries where the region has existing strengths that can be built on, continues to serve as a best practice for leveraging regional assets for expansion and growth. Through these initiatives Kansas City has seen increased jobs, utilized real-estate space and gained national recognition.
