Manufacturing and Distribution Operations Continue to Select KC

Pretzels, Inc., Amazon, and Boxy Charm are among the companies that have recently selected the Kansas City region for new manufacturing and distribution facilities.

Pretzels Inc., a leading, family-owned pretzel manufacturer announced it will open a new 146,000 sq.-ft. production facility at Lawrence VenturePark in Lawrence, Kansas. The company plans to hire 281 and invest $88 million. Read more

Amazon announced plans to open a 1.08 million-sq.-ft. eCommerce fulfillment center in Kansas City, Kansas next year, creating more than 500 jobs. This grows the company's presence to eight known facilities in the Kansas City region. Read more

Boxy Charm, a leader in the beauty subscription box industry, has selected Southview Commerce Center II in Belton, Missouri for its new 575,000-sq.-ft. eCommerce fulfillment operation. Read more.

So far in 2020, the Kansas City area has attracted new supply chain operations pledging to occupy approximately 5 million-sq.-ft., create more than 3,500 jobs and invest nearly $880 million. Learn more.
